Player Evaluations

In order to be considered eligible for the draft, all players in the majors, minors and rookie divisions must attend one tryout session.  (T-Ball players do not attend tryouts.) There will be separate sessions for each division on Saturday.  There will be a combined session for majors, minors, and rookies held on Sunday for anyone who can’t make it on Saturday.  Please see session dates and times below. If your player is unable to make either of the dates below, please reach out to the Player Agent for their division: Contact Page.

Player evaluations for the 2020 season will be held on January 25 and 26 at Sacramento State's John Smith Field located on the west side of the college campus on College Town Drive.  All players should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the listed start time to allow ample time to check in and warm up.  In addition, there will be sample jerseys available so that the league can order the correct size for your child.

Priority Registration for Returning Players

Our goal is to make accomodations for all players who want to participate in our league, so we make every effort not to turn anyone away.  However, priority is given to returning players, but it's important that you ensure you sign up early in order to avoid any registration issues as we get closer to tryouts and the start of the season.

Registration Fees

We have extended the regular registration period and removed the late fee!
The registration fees for this year are as follows:

On or before March 1, 2020
$165 for one player* **
$150 for each additional player* **
*A $25 uniform fee will be included for all players in the Rookie, Minor, and Major divisions.  T-Ball is not subject to the uniform fee.  (See below for additional details.)
**All registration fees include admission for two adults to our annual River Park Broken Bat Ball.

Uniforms
Over the years, there has been a trememdous amount of interest from families to institute jerseys that the players would be able to customize with their name and keep at the end of the year.  So, this year we're introducing our new River Park jerseys that all players will be able to keep at the end of the season instead of turning them back in.  The jerseys will still represent the individual team colors and names, and they will all come with a team ball cap and and matching socks.  In order to accomodate this change, there is a $25 uniform fee associated with registration for all players in the Rookie, Minor, and Major divisions.  T-Ball players are not subject to the additional fee.
